Dr. Austin Martinez D.C., A.R.T.

Dr. Austin Martinez, D.C., A.R.T. was raised in Santa Rosa, CA. He has always had a passion for helping people become better versions of themselves, and found that becoming a chiropractor could fulfill that passion. No matter the injury, Dr. Martinez ensures that every patient gets a personalized treatment plan that benefits the patient directly. He makes sure that each case gets his full attention in an effort to get the patient back to a pain-free lifestyle.​​​

After graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Dr. Martinez moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend University of Western States, where he graduated with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He returned to Sonoma County to be close to his family, and to help those who helped him get to where he is today. His love for Sonoma County is enhanced by being surrounded by people that enjoy the outdoors, and live healthy and active lifestyles like he does.

As people attempt to kick-start goals – whether physical, mental or nutritional – they often find themselves sustaining some sort of injury and in more pain than normal due to a sedentary lifestyle (minimal activity). Dr. Martinez is motivated to get every patient relieved of pain and help them get back on track to accomplish their goals. Through his experience with multiple sports and injuries associated with those sports, Dr. Martinez understands how debilitating and helpless you can feel after an injury. Utilizing his passion for movement, exercise and activity, he has made it a mission to help others in his community relieve pain, achieve their goals, perform at their best and enjoy life!

He prides himself on the ability to quickly and effectively treat musculoskeletal injuries so that you don’t have to continue to alter your lifestyle around your pain. Dr. Martinez keeps himself busy outside of the office by spending time with his family, playing tennis, golf, hiking and enjoying the beauty of Sonoma County.

Dr. Martinez is the future of chiropractic and soft tissue injury treatment. In addition to providing chiropractic care, he specializes in Active Release Technique® (ART). Being full body certified in ART, Dr. Martinez has a variety of methods to help his patients get back to living their best life. ART is a patented soft-tissue technique that focuses on muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia (connective tissue), and nerves that are irritated and causing the patient pain.

Dr. Martinez believes in a whole-body, evidence-based approach of solving the root of the problem by utilizing the latest research and techniques to determine the source of the pain so that you can get back to doing what you love without the recurring symptoms and problems.
